There is no point in getting a washing machine that is too big to be placed anywhere. In this day and age, washing machines come with a variety of different features. Obviously the better features you want, the more costly the piece of equipment will be. But before you jump into buying a machine, you should sit down and write on a note pad, the features that are an absolute must for you. For example you may well be helped with features such as delay cycles or water level controls. Be sure you know exactly what you want, because when you go to eventually buy the machine, the sales team may well try to make you purchase the top of the range model with hundreds of features that you will probably never end up using.
